Contact 775-851-2993 to RSVP. Orientation for new folks is at 6 PM.
Here is what the group is all about:
We seek to transform the world through love and service leaving it better than how we found it rather than simply coping and conforming to it.
GROWING TOGETHER
We support spiritual and community growth by sharing what works for us to build authentic relationships. We also set powerful intentions for areas of our life that we choose to grow further.
WHAT WE DO
In the virtue stories section, we ask that you share personal stories about what has worked for you. The intention part of the meeting is used to share areas that you personally want to work on. Then we share the passions we have to make the world a better place--- and connect with each other to help realize them. We receive inspiration, inspire others, grow spiritually, and weave connections between us that radiate out into the total community.

Neighbor Week Page
Reno, NV - - The Conscious Community Network encourages northern Nevadans---young and old, and urban and suburban---to participate in the Fourth Annual “Get To Know Your Neighbor Week” from Saturday, June 20th through Tuesday, June 30th by hosting a pot-luck, block party, or coffee klatch on their street. Or, just go out and meet your neighbors by knocking on their door and saying hello.
The first three annual events were so successful with more than 200 different pot-lucks and block parties and thousands of people involved, that it has turned into an ongoing movement.
We ask that organizations help us to spead the word by encouraging their employees, congregants, or members to participate.
“With so many studies indicating Americans feel disconnected from their larger community,” Richard Flyer, a founder of the Conscious Community Network, noted, “we wanted to hold a regional event where a large number of gatherings would take place simultaneously.” Flyer added: “By bringing people together to talk about common needs, we put a face on the person next door and help people reconnect with the larger community they participate in.”
We encourage neighbors to form “caring circles” to organize their events and also to continue meeting after Neighbor Week is over: to help seniors who are isolated; find mentors for youth; beautify your street; plant a garden; and so many other possibilities.
“Get To Know Your Neighbor Week” is part of the Conscious Community Network The network is a new regional-wide movement for social renewal, that, as part of its mission, encourages creating a purpose driven community that focuses on demonstrating Goodness in our lives.
